Our Work
Rumiverse Studio is constantly developing new stories, ranging from fantasy novels and tabletop role-playing games to maps, adventures, and other narrative formats.
Each project is part of a broader effort to build worlds that feel cohesive, alive, and worth returning to. This page serves as an overview of current and developing work, offering insight into both finished projects and those still taking shape.
When a project becomes available, it will include a link to its store page.

A Beautiful Nightmare
Novel
A Beautiful Nightmare is a dark fantasy mystery following Alessandra and Giorgio as they cross into a spectral world shaped by grief, memory, and unresolved loss. Their journey begins with a disappearance but quickly unfolds into something far more unsettling.
As reality and the supernatural blur, the search for Marcello leads them through twisted landscapes and fragile truths, where inner demons are as dangerous as the entities that inhabit the Land of Litorca. At its core, the story explores love, sacrifice, and the resilience of the human spirit when confronted with darkness that cannot simply be escaped.
Author's note:
This is my first novel to go through publication. It is a dark fantasy mystery centered on the human spirit and on love. The reader and the characters discover the world together as they move deeper into it—whether through a forest or across the page.
This story is written for those who love discovery, and for readers who want stories for adults that are not afraid to face the darkness in the world.

Veiled Ascension
Veiled Ascension is a narrative-focused game system built around identity, memory, and power. It begins with a simple question: what if you were once a god, a messiah, an angel, or something heaven-sent—and no longer remember it?
Players awaken without knowing who or what they are. Fragments of their past exist only in scattered pages and in the way the world remembers them. To truly learn who they were, and who they are becoming, players must uncover those memories and confront the roles history has assigned them.
Power grows through understanding. The more players learn about themselves and the world, the stronger they become—until, by the time their story is fully revealed, they are ready to decide how it continues. Will they accept the identity the world remembers, or ascend into something entirely new?
Developer's note:
Veiled Ascension is Rumiverse Studio’s most recent passion project, designed to give a competent game master the tools to run a compelling game for any group of players, whether new or experienced. The system is intentionally simple, leaving as much space as possible for narrative and player choice.
It is built to let players step into the roles of history-defining figures and grow into those identities over a short span of play, in a world that does not pause or wait for them to catch up.

Veiled Ascension: The Fall of Belthas
Game
The Fall of Belthas is an adventure written for Veiled Ascension, set in a world ruled by the Demon King Belthas. Once, the players stood against him—but neither they nor the world remembers how that came to pass.
To stop Belthas before he finds them, the players must act quickly, uncovering who they were, how they lost their power, and why Belthas knows them better than they know themselves. As the world closes in, knowledge becomes both weapon and shield in an escalating battle of memory, identity, and will.
This is a confrontation defined not by force, but by insight—where learning who Belthas is may matter more than learning how to fight him.
Author's note:
The story of heroes destined to save a world they do not remember—but that remembers them—is the reason Veiled Ascension exists. The Fall of Belthas tells a story that other systems could not support: one where power has no fixed numbers, heroes have no defined stats, and force alone is never the answer.
Progress in this adventure does not come from leveling up, but from understanding—of the world, of the characters themselves, and of Belthas as an adversary. By playing, advancement is not with traditional progression but with the healing of the mind.
The adventure is written around six player characters deeply intertwined with both the world and Belthas. It can be played with one player, all six, or any number in between, without breaking the core narrative.

Silver Blade
Silver Blade is a fantasy novel currently in development, set in the Bronze Age–inspired empire of Elpha. It follows a lone soldier who, through skill, luck, and persistence, rises through the ranks of a world ruled by gods, magi, and divine authority.
As Darius ascends, gaining the favor of powers far above him, he begins to see the fractures beneath Elpha’s grandeur. From the lowest ranks to the highest circles of power, the story explores what becomes visible only when someone climbs far enough to look back down.
Author's note:
Silver Blade is a project still finding its shape. At its core, it is a story about a simple man navigating a world governed by literal gods—and the idea that determination and understanding can be as transformative as divine power.
Darius moves between the world of the poor and the world of the gods, belonging fully to neither. The questions driving this project revolve around power, injustice, and what it means to rise in a system that may be rotten at its core. As the story develops, so too does its direction.
